League Manager & Match Centre Update – Friday 13 November

In May this year we announced a new Match Centre (Beta version), a mobile friendly and personalised user experience for competition tennis.  We are excited to announce that the Beta period is completed and Tennis will be fully transitioning across to the new Match Centre experience, matchcentre.tennis.com.au. 

The date of transition is Wednesday 16th December 2020, with all web traffic and users from leagues.tennis.com.au being redirected to the matchcentre.tennis.com.au. Existingusers of League Manager & Match Centre do not need to create a new account, simply log in with your existing details. 

Tennis Australia will be placing a notification on leagues.tennis.com.au directing current users to the new Match Centre in the near future, with the notification displaying up until the 15th December. In addition, a direct notification will be sent to all League Manager and Match Centre users advising of the transition to matchcentre.tennis.com.au.

Please note that any organisation that utilises the TA League Manager providediFrame display for fixtures, results and ladders will continue to be supported in their current state.   

Any organisation that lists direct links and/or references to leagues.tennis.com.au on their website is encouraged to update the URL references with the new URL, matchcentre.tennis.com.au.

Please note on Monday 21 Septmeber 2020 a minor League Manager and Match Centre (Beta) software release will take place during the late evening, which includes the following updates:

 

League Manager

  • Nominations close settings time updated to 11:59pm AEST/AEDT of selected date and tool tip added
  • Enhanced nomination settings to allow the ability to lock squads for unallocated teams when nominations close
  • Ability to remind users to enter player rubber designation where required for Not Played/Cancelled Matches via league template settings setup
  • Tool tips added to Challenge Settings Template to assist in competition setup process
  • Matches Overview page filter drop-downs allow individual/multi/all selection for leagues, match status and rounds
  • Report generation time enhancement and update to Player Nomination and Team Nomination Grading
  • Stripe Account integration errors resolved when linking to an account to an organisation
  • Minor Bug fixes

Please note on Thursday 11 June 2020 a minor League Manager and Match Centre (Beta) software release will take place during the late evening, which included the following updates:

 

League Manager

  • Automated Email Notifications/Reminders updated and reactivated to allow integration with the new Match Centre (Beta) release
  • All Email Notifications/Reminders with a Match Centre hyperlink now direct to new Match Centre
  • Roles & Rights updates to Team Manager & Results Manager roles rectifying results entry bug for both roles and team editing.
  • Pending Persons improved search functionality
  • Teams Overview display issue resolved
  • Set Primary Facility bug resolved
  • Minor bug fixes

New Match Centre (Beta version)

  • All Email Notifications/Reminders with a Match Centre hyperlink now direct to new Match Centre
  • Updated the Challenge Availability settings to allow availability and unavailability preferences to be stored concurrently
  • When scheduling a challenge against an opponent the date picker only allows specified dates of opponent and displays unavailability.
  • Minor bug fixes

League Manager & Match Centre Update – Monday 27 April

Please note overnight on Sunday 26 April 2020 a minor League Manager and Match Centre software release was completed, which included the following changes:

 

  • Removal of the ‘Emergency’ player type and replaced with Fill-in type (click HERE to view the support article)
  • Ability to link Stripe accounts to an organisation* (click HERE to view the support article)
  • Minor defect fixes.

 

*Note online payments via League Manager or Match Centre will not be available until future releases. This update only allows linking of an account to your organisation with no further functionality.

League Manager & Match Centre Outages – Monday 25 November

We are aware of users experiencing access and page load issues for both League Manager and Match Centre throughout Sunday 24th November.

Users may continue to experience intermittent access issues to both League Manager and Match Centre at this point in time as our vendor looks to resolve the issue.

Once the matter is fully resolved, an update will be posted to Tennis Australia’s Systems Support page.

We are pleased to announce an update to League Manager’s support functionality, with the launch of the WalkMe support tool.

WalkMe provides League Manager Users with step-by-step instructions to assist users in completing specific League Manager tasks.

To access WalkMe, click ‘Support’ on the League Manager dashboard.

 

Users can exit the WalkMe support tool at any time when in use by simply clicking the ‘x’ on the WalkMe pop-up.

The WalkMe support tool can currently assist users with:

  • Entering Match Results
  • Incomplete Rubbers/Matches
  • Disputing Results
  • Printing Scorecards
  • Viewing Ladders
  • Ladder Adjustments
  • Editing Match Settings
  • Activating Finals
  • Adding a Club Logo

The team at Tennis Australia will continue to update WalkMe with additional guides for various League Manager functions throughout 2018.

Summary of League Manager improvements/changes:

  • Users can access live support and WalkMe via the ‘Support’ button on the League Manager Dashboard.
  • The Live Chat feature is now accessible by clicking the Support button, and clicking ‘Chat With Us’ on the pop-up menu:


       Please note that the ‘Chat With Us’ feature will only appear when our Customer Service Team is available to chat.

  • Users can access online step-by-step guidance via the Support button for key League Manager tasks
  • Access to Tennis’ Systems Support Centre is now available by clicking ‘Knowledge Base’ on the League Manager Dashboard.

League Manager Update – 26 April 2018

We are pleased to announce an update to League Manager and Match Centre functionality.

League Manager:

  • Ability to view assigned courts for a match in Matches Overview and Matches Participant
  • Printed scorecards now display allocated courts for a match
  • Improved player search functionality when editing a squad/adding players to a team

  • Improved player search functionality when adding a players to a team via the scorecard
  • Ability to view assigned court for a match on the scorecard
  • Printed scorecards now display allocated courts for a match

League Manager Update – Tuesday 30 May 2017
We’re pleased to announce a number of updates to League Manager and Match Centre.

 

League Manager new functions:

  • Cancelled Round and/or Match e-mail notification
    • E-mail notifications can now be sent through the system when a scheduled match is cancelled in the future. E.g. Forfeit, Washout, Heatout etc.
    • Notifications can be sent to one or more of the following user groups – Players, Team Captains, Clubs or League Manager
    • The settings to determine who receives these notifications can be set when editing and/or creating a Season Template as part of step 1.2 (Season Template Advanced Settings). For more information please click HERE

 

League Manager improvements/changes:

  • Internal Season Templates
    • Non-Playing Dates can be added to leagues created using Internal Season Templates. This can be done at Step 4 (Fixture Preview Screen) when editing/creating a Season Template.
  • Delete Teams
    • Teams can now be deleted from the Allocate Teams screen, which will also delete them from their respective club’s nominated teams list.
  • Entering Match Results – Doubles
    • The ability to list the same player twice in a doubles rubber has been removed to ensure data accuracy. Users who are unsure of who a player was are encouraged to select the ‘Unspecified Player’ option.
  • Matches Overview – Filter
    • Users are now able to filter so results will display Multiple Leagues and/or Multiple Match Statuses on the Matches Overview Screen.

 

Match Centre New Functionality:

  • Match Centre Search
    • Search functionality has been improved to allow users to search more accurately off multiple words within the text box. E.g. searching for Tennis West will now firstly display any exact matches for Tennis West before displaying results that contain either the word Tennis or West within them.
    • Search results will now be returned based on geographical relevance. Users will now see search results based on their state location (set in their profile) above results from other states that meet the search criteria.
