Merging duplicate profiles is important to ensure you have the most accurate UTR Rating, have all your match history attributed to your profile and enable administrators to provide you the best competitive play experience.

When you have a profile merge request approved, your UTR Ratings may require updating. See the below outlined scenarios that outline what will happen to your UTR Ratings.

 

When your profile does not contain any UTR Ratings and the duplicate profile has UTR Ratings:

• if the merge request is approved by Tennis Australia your UTR Rating will update to the rating from the merged profile, and will be recalculated in the next weekly Tuesday ratings update.

When your profile contains UTR Ratings and the duplicate profile has UTR Ratings:

• if the merge request is approved by Tennis Australia your UTR Rating will remain the same as displayed on your own dashboard, and will be recalculated in the next weekly Tuesday ratings update.
