Function: | Configure discounted pricing for court bookings for clubs who do not use ClubSpark to manage memberships |
If a club doesn’t wish to use ClubSpark to manage their memberships, they have the option to give discounted prices for court hire to their members. To do this, please follow the steps below…
Membership Set-Up
- If all Members receive the same pricing for Court Bookings: set up one Membership package (e.g. 2020 Membership)
- If Members receive different pricing based on the type of Membership that they purchase set up each individual package in ClubSpark (e.g. Adult Membership 2020 Junior Membership 2020 and Family Membership 2020)
- If you have a group of members who do not receive discounted pricing you do not need to add them to ClubSpark
Creating Membership Packages
- Select the ‘Membership’ module from the left hand side of the page, then select ‘New Package’
- Fill out the relevant details of the Membership package
- For Availability – Select Hidden
- For Cost – just add $0 to this section – there is no need to fill out pricing or payment information as Memberships are not being processed through ClubSpark

Adding Members to the Membership Package/s
Each Member will need to be added individually using the below process:
- Select the ‘Contacts’ module on the left hand side of the page
- Search for the Member that you wish to add by using the search field. Select the member that needs their membership updated. (Note: some contacts have multiple Book a Court profiles. Select the profile that has been ‘registered’ which is listed on the right hand side).
- Check that the contact’s profile information is up to date. Check the DOB, gender, mobile, email and address. If the information needs to be updated, select ‘edit contact in the top left hand corner and update the details accordingly. Click ‘save contact’ if you make any changes.
- On the contact’s profile, scroll down and select ‘add membership’ and choose the membership package that corresponds to that member. Then click ‘save’
- Click ‘pending’ and change it to ‘active’
Note:
For those who cannot be found in the search (i.e. new members).
- Select Contact Options and Add New Contact
- Fill in Name, Email and Phone Number – click ‘save’
- Select edit contact and fill in remaining profile information – click ‘save’
