Platform/Product/Module: | ClubSpark – Programs |
Function: | How to enable payments on site for a players participating to a program/course |
You are able to take offline payments for coaching courses, singles sessions or recurring sessions.
You could use this alongside online payments to give your customers the option of online and offline payments. Or you could decide just to take offline payments.
Note:
It will be the responsibility of the club to collect payment if a customer decides to pay via this option.
1.
First, create a course (e.g. coaching), single session or recurring sessions.
2.
When you get to the Costs section you will have two options under payment methods see below:
If you select the ‘Offline‘ option, an Instructions box will appear where you can tell your participants how you want to receive payments (e.g. Pay cash on arrival or share your EFT details for a bank transfer).
3.
Don’t forget to Save course.
4.
For the participant – or parent/guardian if it’s a junior program -, when viewing the course online this is how it will look:
As you can see customers have the option to select ‘online‘ payments and/or the ‘offline Instructions‘ you’ve written.
If you decide to only take offline payments, only the ‘offline Instructions’ will show up.
Note:
The Terms and Conditions in the programs module are the default court hire ones. If the club wants to change this, they need to change the court hire T&C’s also because the same document populates to court hire and programs.
To do this, head to the Booking module > Configuration > Terms of Use
5.
Once the participant has booked, a confirmation message will let them know how they’ve chosen to pay.
6.
Back to the course in the program module, they will appear as ‘Not Paid‘:
7.
Once you have received payment, click on the relevant player and open up their record to select ‘Edit payment‘
Here you have the option to add the payment amount, the type and then ‘Save‘.
8.
They will then show as ‘Paid‘
