3- Edit the cost of a membership subscription

Function: How to edit the cost of a monthly subscription for some members

 

Clubs have the option to edit the cost of a monthly subscription individually for some members, if there are no transactions already associated to it (or all payment transactions have been refunded).

 

Note:
Unfortunately, currently, it is not possible to edit the cost of the monthly subscription for every existing member in once… You’ll have to do it as described below.
Once the monthly cost of your subscription has been set up, we advise against editing the cost of the entire membership package in the future, as it will impact only members joining after the change in cost has been made.

 

1.

To do this, select the membership to be edited in the relevant membership package.
Then, click the Edit button in the Costs section

 

 

Note:
As stated before, you won’t be able to edit the cost once a payment has been made.

A Change Cost pop up window will appear where you can edit the monthly cost.

Note:
You will also be able to edit the full cost, if you’ve ticked that option when you created the subscription package.

 

 

 

3.

Tick the box to confirm you want to make the changes and click Confirm.

Once the edit is confirmed, the main contact for the membership should be sent an email confirming the new cost and if there are any monthly instalments left to pay, the cost of the subscription will be updated.

 

5.

Once the first payment of the new cost has been processed, a record for this will be automatically added to Transactions.

The previous period, with the previous cost and transaction history, will still be accessible by selecting the relevant date range drop down.
