We’re pleased to announce a number of updates to League Manager and Match Centre.

 

League Manager new functions:

  • Cancelled Round and/or Match e-mail notification
    • E-mail notifications can now be sent through the system when a scheduled match is cancelled in the future. E.g. Forfeit, Washout, Heatout etc.
    • Notifications can be sent to one or more of the following user groups – Players, Team Captains, Clubs or League Manager
    • The settings to determine who receives these notifications can be set when editing and/or creating a Season Template as part of step 1.2 (Season Template Advanced Settings). For more information please click HERE

 

League Manager improvements/changes:

  • Internal Season Templates
    • Non-Playing Dates can be added to leagues created using Internal Season Templates. This can be done at Step 4 (Fixture Preview Screen) when editing/creating a Season Template.
  • Delete Teams
    • Teams can now be deleted from the Allocate Teams screen, which will also delete them from their respective club’s nominated teams list.
  • Entering Match Results – Doubles
    • The ability to list the same player twice in a doubles rubber has been removed to ensure data accuracy. Users who are unsure of who a player was are encouraged to select the ‘Unspecified Player’ option.
  • Matches Overview – Filter
    • Users are now able to filter so results will display Multiple Leagues and/or Multiple Match Statuses on the Matches Overview Screen.

 

Match Centre New Functionality:

  • Match Centre Search
    • Search functionality has been improved to allow users to search more accurately off multiple words within the text box. E.g. searching for Tennis West will now firstly display any exact matches for Tennis West before displaying results that contain either the word Tennis or West within them.
    • Search results will now be returned based on geographical relevance. Users will now see search results based on their state location (set in their profile) above results from other states that meet the search criteria.

TennisConnect Rewards Update – 8 May 2017

My Tennis is an application that helps club administrators manage memberships. An exciting part of My Tennis is TennisConnect Rewards which rewards clubs for connecting people to tennis. So far, over $100,000 worth of TennisConnect Rewards have been earned by clubs across Australia.

If your club wants to be eligible to earn rewards, you just need to offer online memberships and set up a Tennis payment gateway. Both of these functions are designed to make your job as a club administrator easier as well as making it quick and simple for members to renew online.

TennisConnect Rewards Tool

To help your club earn rewards, you can use the TennisConnect Rewards Tool which allows you to contact your members with instructions on creating a tennis account online and include a personalised club message.

You will earn $5 for your club for every member who creates a tennis account online and nominates your club as their primary place of play.

The closing date to earn rewards is 31 May 2017 so start using the TennisConnect Rewards Tool today.

Along with $5 for each member who creates an online account using the TennisConnect Rewards Tool, your club will receive an additional reward of $5 for League participants who have joined tennis via match centre during the period 1 July 2015 – 31 May 2017. If applicable, these rewards will be allocated to clubs after 31 May 2017 so will not show up in your Tennis Connect Rewards dashboard.

The system uses data which has been supplied by clubs/affiliates. In some instances the quality of this data is poor or outdated and as such affiliates should exercise caution in sending out communications. It is recommended all club administrators review their membership list and associated data to ensure only recipients intended for communications are receiving communications through the use of up to date information. This is also important in the context of clubs meeting privacy requirements.

My Tennis & Match Centre Scheduled Outage – 2 November 2016

There will be a scheduled outage tonight between 9-11pm (AEST) which may affect users logging into Tennis applications: My Tennis and Match Centre. This outage is expected to address the Bulk Registration Tool and improve the systems performance.

League Manager Update – 3 June 2016

Please see below the latest updates and exciting changes League Manager has recently received

League Manager New Functionality:

  • Custom Report Builder
    • League Manager reporting functionality is now categorised to allow for easy navigation
    • Media and Match Notes reports are now available

  • Manual Draw Seed Process
    • A new process that enables league managers to easily assign manual draw seeds per team
  • Next and Previous buttons are now located on all scorecards when viewing through League Manager
    • You can now easily navigate between scorecards based on the match filters initially selected

  • League sorting
    • League Managers can now adjust the order your leagues are displayed in on Match Centre

  • Ladder overview pages
    • League Managers can now view their organised and participating league ladders, these are available by selecting Leagues > Organised Leagues Ladders or Teams > Participating Ladders from the left hand side menu bar respectively

 

League Manager improvements/changes:

  • I-frame Improvement
    • Round filters now allow you to view any match that is scheduled for your league/division
    • New league categorisation and filters, allow for easy site navigation
  • Filter/search options are now available on the following pages

    • Participating Ladders
    • Leagues
    • Teams in Organised Leagues
    • Organised Leagues ladders
    • Season Templates
  • Team overview page
    • The Win, Loss & Drawn match columns are now populated
  • Scorecard: Add player button has been relocated underneath the listed players
  • Scorecard: The exclude match button has been relocated to the top of the scorecard. This is now a toggle option labelled ‘No Match Exception’.
  • Terminology change from ‘PDF’ to ‘PRINT SCORECARDS’ on the matches organiser and participant screens

Match Centre New Functionality:

  • Team captain contact details
    • When viewing the upcoming and previous match panel on your dashboard, ‘Call Captain’ buttons are now available. This will display a contact phone number for team captains only.

League Manager Update – 6 April 2016

League Manager and Match Centre have received some exciting new functionality

League Manager:

  • I-Framing Solution
    • You can embed match centre into your organisations website, customised with your websites format settings. Your leagues, divisions, fixtures, results & ladders are all available through the I-frame solution. If you would like to embed this solution into your website, please contact the team for assistance.
  • Manage Team Squad
    • Select team captain feature
    • New reserve and emergency player panel added in to separate selected squad players and reserve/emergency players. (Note: Only selected squad players will be displayed on a printed scorecard)
    • Added ability to move players from the base squad to emergency/reserve player panel
  • Team Regrading
    • The ability to regrade teams from any point within a season between different divisions within a league. If you require any teams to be regraded, please contact the support team for assistance.
  • Email Content updated
    • Clickable links added to link directly to specific matches where required.
  • Dashboard Statistics
    •  Added in organisational based stats on matches that are: Missing results, unconfirmed, disputed, and unofficial.
    •  The number of upcoming matches for a specific period displayed
    • All of the above totals link directly to the appropriate matches when selected
  • Reports
    • Team grading report (Player Rating Based)
    • Team grading report (Performance Based)

Match Centre:

  • Individual rubber results tables added to player profiles for singles and doubles
  • Print ladders by a ‘points by round’ view, available from an organisational level
  • A pop up will now appear updating players when there are changes or new functionality released on Match Centre. This pop up will only appear the first time a player logs in after any changes are made to match Centre.
  • Match centre activity/timeline stream, including activities from:
    • Favourites (players, teams, divisions, organisations)
    • Your Teams (participating in as a player)
    • Your Organisations
    • Your Leagues (participating in as a player)

League Manager and Match Centre have received some exciting updates:

League Manager:

  • Directional arrows have been added into the squad management page, allowing League Managers to reorder their team squads as required
  • Finals rounds can now be selected in the matches filters when viewing scorecards
  • Team nomination grading report is now available

Match Centre:

  • Matches played are now highlighted on your dashboard, team matches not participated in are greyed out (Note: This is for all players considered base or full squad members, not Geust or Reserve players)
  • Guest & Reserve players dashboards display only matches in which they have participated
  • A Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) menu item has been added to view
  • When logging in via the Navigation bar you are now redirected directly to your Dashboard
  • Background images per category have been applied (Dashboard, Player, Team, League & Organisation)

League Manager Update – 28 January 2016

We are happy to report that the below is now available in League Manager

League Manager:

  • Email communications is now active; including match dispute notifications, results entry reminders and Match cancellations.

Furthermore, League Managers are now able to:

  • Modify matches in a bulk capacity. This includes the ability to approve, cancel & modify match details.
  • Make adjustments to active leagues; ladder display, sorting & calculation formats can all be adjusted as well as match & finals formats.
  • Use the ‘Add Player’ button on scorecards to search for and create new players, to add into the team’s squad.
  • Utilise division based editing via the League Profile page and clicking ‘Show division Settings’.

Match Centre:

  • View all organisation ladders on a page (available from the Organisation page).
  • View all matches for a division on a page.

We’re happy to report that Match Centre has received a refreshed look.

Here’s a quick summary of the latest changes

  • Personalised player statistics are now displayed on a player’s dashboard, as well as an overall list for each division
  • You now have the ability to view ladders by points by round, in addition to the traditional view that is currently displaying
  • You have the ability to set favourite Players, Teams, Leagues and Organisations. Selected favourites will be displayed on your dashboard for navigation simplicity.  Setting a favourite is really simple, simply click on the star next to the player, team, league or organisation name once searched.

League Manager Update – 30 October 2015

We really appreciate your continued support as we implement the new-look League Manager. We’re happy to report that many of the issues from the recent weeks have now been resolved, although we understand there’s still a way to go. We’re working hard to improve the system as soon as possible.

Here’s a quick summary of the latest developments:

  • Match Centre (leagues.tennis.com.au) is now fully responsive on mobile devices, allowing players to enter results and view their draws and ladders on their smart phone or tablet.
  • A new step-by-step guide is now available for Match Centre. Please click here to access the document and we encourage you to circulate to your players.
  • Results containing washouts, forfeits, retirements and incomplete matches are now all calculating correctly in ladders.
