League Manager Update -16 October 2015

Firstly, sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused during this very busy time as we continue to roll-out the new league management software.

We understand and share your frustration and are doing our best to work through the current issues.
Please be assured we are working around the clock to deliver the promised functionalities to make managing your leagues easier.

We’ve listened to your concerns, and would like to provide you with a quick update:

  • We understand many of your clubs are finding it difficult to access League Manager, despite you giving the club user authorisation. We have deployed a fix that should now see all of your clubs able to access League Manager, provided you have given them authorisation.
  • As a reminder, team captains do not need to access League Manager, rather they will enter results through Match Centre.
  • For those receiving questions about no matches appearing in a player’s dashboard, this is due to the new Tennis account not being linked to the player’s profile due to the lack of data from our previous system and we will not risk linking the incorrect accounts.
  • As expected with a new system, we know you’ve encountered a number of user errors during the set up process. The process for correcting errors is time consuming but essential to ensure all system data is correct. We are working on resolving your most immediate concerns and fixing the most common mistakes as quickly as we possibly can.

As frustrating as we know this is, we ask for your patience as we continue to resolve these issues. Please be assured that our team is doing as much as we can to improve your experience with the system. We truly believe that League Manager and Match Centre will make a significant difference to both participants and you as administrators of leagues.

There are a number of exciting developments coming up, including the release of the iOS and Android App for Match Centre and the user-friendly fill-in functionality in League Manager. But for the moment we’ve put these future enhancements on hold so we can focus on resolving your most urgent concerns.

Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused throughout this transitional period. Look out for an update from us next Tuesday and please do not hesitate to call us on 1800 PLAY TENNIS, [email protected] or speak to us through the Live Chat function available through League Manager.

Best of luck for the upcoming season.

Kind Regards,

The Competitions Team
