The process of creating a new match may need to be undertaken for a variety of reasons (for example additional matches due to washed out matches/rounds). Matches can be created in an already published competition and at the discretion of the competition administrator.

Note: the competition must be published should a new match need to be created at any point during the season. No additional Finals matches can be created from the set format.

Step 1 – In the side menu bar under Matches, click ‘Overview’

 

Step 2 – Begin the process of Filtering by Selecting the ‘League’ Button and choosing the desired ‘League’

 

Step 3 – Click ‘Create Match’ to begin entering the match details for the upcoming/completed league match

Note: If the ‘Create Match’ button is unable to be clicked, you may be required to continue filtering for the specific league. You may need to specify the correct Division or venue

Step 4 – Begin Entering the relevant details of the match. Ensure you complete all fields provided with the correct information. You must type the name of the facility/venue as it is in League Manager to return a result to select.

Ensure that if the teams are known, select the ‘Participants’ option under Team Labels prior to selecting the participants.

Only use the Labels option if it is not known who will be playing the match (note: if labels are used no players can be selected and the match must be edited once teams are known).

 

Step 5 – Once all the correct details have been entered regarding the match, Click ‘Create’ to finalise and the newly created match will be added to the competition.
